HCL Purpose

We Believe:

With the universal Christian Church, The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod teaches and responds to the love of the Triune God: the Father, creator of all that exists; Jesus Christ, the Son, who became human to suffer and die for the sins of all human beings and to rise to life again in the ultimate victory over death and Satan; and the Holy Spirit, who creates faith through God's Word and Sacraments. The three persons of the Trinity are coequal and coeternal, one God.

Our Vision:

We the members of Holy Cross Lutheran Church by the grace of God, invite all to share the Good News of Jesus Christ, by always showing the Love of God thru sharing his many blessings.  We devote our selves to prayer, the understanding of God’s Word, fellowship and community.

We are not perfect, only forgiven children of God through Jesus Christ, therefore, heirs of His Kingdom through the sacrifice of our Lord and Savior.  With this knowledge we seek to bring others to the realization of their salvation and eternal life in Jesus Christ.  We seek no earthly reward but look to the Grace of God to sustain us during our journey in this world. 

We will share the Gospel of Jesus Christ everywhere: by Praying, Teaching, Sharing and Reaching

1. The means of our salvation
2. Our hope in time of need
3. Through the blessings of time, talent and treasures given to us as stewards of God

We Reach the Lost and Disenfranchised:

1. By taking the message of Jesus Christ into the world
2. To serve others through humble love
3. To meet others where they are in their lives
